The Bolivarian Alliance for the Peoples of Our America – People’s Trade Treaty (ALBA-TCP) expressed its strongest and most categorical condemnation of the recent illegal incursion of U.S. combat aircraft, detected just 75 kilometers off the coast of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela.

In an official statement issued by the organization’s executive secretary, Rander Peña, he emphasized that this act constitutes a serious provocation that undermines national sovereignty and represents a direct violation of international law, jeopardizing the peace and stability of the entire region.

These military harassment maneuvers violate the fundamental principles of peaceful coexistence among states and seek to generate tension, fear, and destabilization in Latin America and the Caribbean. ALBA-TCP warns that these types of actions not only affect one member state, but also compromise civil and commercial aviation security in the Caribbean, posing unacceptable risks to the peoples of the region.

The ALBA-TCP member countries will not accept being treated as a theater of foreign military operations and will maintain their firm determination to preserve the independence and well-being of their nations against all forms of external interference.
